Wheat Midge: I missed this one.Nothing like closing the door/gate after the cat/cow/horse is already out

I did not scout anyplace for midge this year. In spite of lots of warning, we felt the crop was not up (WRONG) to spending another $10 to $15 per ac.. I watched the Wheat Kings last night with a friend (farmer)from Minto. Pat mentioned he is hearing about Midge damage in his area to. (nothing on his wheat). Link is a Sask AG. map predicting trouble.

Wheaties lost 6-3 to the Calgary Hitmen. Lots of good Manitoba boys on the Hitmen(?)
